Job Description:

OPNBuildings is an innovative software startup company which is in a growth phase and is seeking exceptional engineers who are looking for something different. The selected individuals will get to join a young motivated and highly competent team working on an exciting project at the forefront of IOT technology.

You will be involved in the roll out and integration of modern IoT technologies into legacy and new building systems. With the aim of creating a predictive analytics service that will literally transform the Building IoT industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

As an IoT engineer at OPNBuildings, you will:

• Manage fleet of deployed sensors and data collectors.
• Build and Develop IoT sensing solutions to ensure rich data flows.
• Work with and integrate data into Building Management Systems.
• Develop smart edge computing scripts for analytical purposes.
• Debug and resolve challenging networking problems and integrations.
• Work will primarily be office based but some site visits and travel will be required.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

We work with a diverse set of technologies and as an IoT engineer at OPNBuildings you will work with the following technologies and in the following areas:

• BACNet & Modbus Protocols
• Building Management Systems
• Sigfox IoT Communications
• Lorawan IoT Communications
• Python Scripting
• AWS
• IP Networks and Security

Ideally experience in all these areas will be required for the candidate to success but as it is such a diverse technical spectrum candidates with some experience and a keen willingness to learn would be considered.
